Hello!

I'm so glad you had a chance to share in my adventures!  I'd love to hear your adventures too!

You probably noticed that I didn't color my pages.  I'm hoping you can color them and send me your colorings to share with others!  People use colors in different ways!  Sometimes, people color to make something look pretty.  Sometimes, people color to show emotions!  For some people, red means love, and for some other people, red might mean anger... every color could have a different meaning to someone else!

I'd also love to hear your adventures!  I look forward to hearing from you!

11/29/2010:  Hooray!  We have raised enough money to donate 200 books!

12/09/2010:  We have raised enough money to donate 250 books!

12/15/2010:  50 books are distributed at David Skeet Elementary School in Vanderwagen, NM for Pre-K and Kindergarten students!

12/16/2010:  46 books are distributed at Ramah Elementary School in Ramah, NM for Pre-K and Kindergarten students!

12/16/2010:  153 books are distributed at Zuni Headstart Program in Zuni, NM!

12/16/2010:  17 books are distributed at St. Anthony Indian School in Zuni, NM for Pre-K students!

Community Cares Donations Now Being Accepted

hcfproducts is currently accepting donations to provide the Adventures of Happy Joy little books to children in Head Start through Kindergarten in Zuni, Ramah, Vanderwagen, and Gallup (New Mexico) and the surrounding areas.  These books will be for individual children to take home, enjoy, practice their reading skills, and hopefully inspire them to write their own book, or make something new! 

Every $2 donates one book. 

If you would like, Happy Joy will inscribe the front cover from you:  "Joyfully donated from ____________" (either your first and/or last name, your family member's names, a reading encourager, someone who wanted to remain anonymous, etc.).  Your name will be added to the Community Cares Project A Contributors list.
